Darrin Reed

Darrin Reed is a producer, director, actor and writer in both television and film. Most recently, he created and produced the show Bar Rescue for Spike TV which began airing in July, 2011. 


Mr. Reed has cultivated relationships with some of the biggest production companies in the Entertainment business (3 Ball Productions, ITV, Digital Ranch and Dune Entertainment, Flavor Unit) which has allowed him to develop a slate of television projects in various genres. 


Mr. Reed is negotiating a new reality and scripted show with Richard Marcinko, the founder of Seal Team Six, the military company which killed Osama Bin Laden.

Mr. Reed produced and directed a horror film called Eyes of the Woods as well as produced a romantic comedy called Ricky. Both will be released in late 2011. He’s currently producing a film called The Prisonaries about the real life story of Johnny Bragg. He’s also in development of an animated short entitled The Gentle Rain written by Henry Gregor Felsen of the “Hot Rod” series.

As a writer, Darrin has completed a screenplay titled A Fighter’s Spirit and a heartwarming boxing story entitled Granite along with a thriller called Stonefish.

Mr. Reed graduated from Suny-Plattsburgh in New York where he studied theater and business.
